Bought Surviving Mars last Christmas, finally getting some time in on it in between real-life shenanigans, but my most recent play-through upset me somewhat when I encountered an anomaly report.
If no-one else has found it yet (seems unlikely that I'm the only one), you can find an anomaly for the remains of the Beagle 2 probe sent by ESA to land on Mars in 2003. The anomaly text says Beagle 2 smashed into the Martian surface at high speed due to parachute failure, and you can survey the wreckage for a reduction in robotic tech research cost.
However, in 2015 Nasa's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter found that the reason Beagle 2 failed was not due to impact. From the images it appears that it landed safely though two of the solar panels failed to deploy, thus blocking the antenna and preventing it from making contact with Earth.
With this in mind, and without needing to change the mechanics of the anomaly, could the devs update the description with what we know happened? It was sad enough when it failed to complete it's mission, and that Colin Pillinger died less than a year before we found out what became of his project, but we can at least give the plucky craft it's dignity and due for making it to the surface successfully?
