Another vista problem i suppose..

Hello everyone, if anybody read this anymore!

Just bought Hearts of Iron 2 after reading great review, am already a great fan of Europa Universalis (1-2-3). But of course, it was to beautifull to be true, i just get the game started and freeze on the main page loading on and on...
I'm using a dual core pc, running the horrible vista, anyone can help me?!?

Well how long?, you could check with (ctr. + Alt + Del) and see whether it is working or not. Some times it takes a couple of minutes, for what i´ve heard.
Some time it helps, luck.

First thing to try is rename the avi folder to stop the intro movies from running.
When using Vista I also strongly recommend installing the game outside of the Program Files folder.
