With the buff to the necromancer job (making them soldiers) is there any hidden combos or buffs that can be applied to this? They produce physics and society research, but there are so few boosts to solider efficiency.

Reactions:
They are worker jobs now so all slave and worker bonuses apply to them so double shifts should be strong (even tho I believe slaves are still bugged so once they get fixed).
The Grand Taskmaster comisar trait gives
+2 energy food and minerals per 100 soldiers too

"The real black magic is how poorly we treat our workers."

For starters there's the obvious solo benefit of having your fleet cap providers also provide science.

Then the defendo tradition gives unity from defense armies you get from your necromancers.

Generals get XP from every army that dies on either side. Just use the trashiest of trash hordes for more general XP, you'll resurrect a bunch anyway.

Reactions:
If the Necromancer job is now a Soldier variant, that means it benefits from such goofy-strong Commissioner traits as Grand Taskmaster, Honored Warmaster, and Ruthless Developer. The latter two are ethic-locked to Xenophile and Authoritarian, respectively, but any of those three (not to mention general Commissioner buffs) would be a rather potent boost. They're just normally boosting a worse job.
