I would only participate if Mowers GMs though! :)

Yeah, it was his 'screw-you-all' attitude that made it work :)

I dunno about "screw you all" :) Well, I hope not!

I felt more driven by "please god make this finish" attitude, which might be one and the same. Mowers also needs alot of sleep to be a reasonable human being and tsunami didnt really factor that in.

Tsunami was fun, indeed it was the best wargaming experience in 30 odd years of gaming by a long way. It filled a long sought after ambition of mine but left me exhausted and the real world a mess. Between returning to old style board games and being temporarily banned WW2OL forums an embaressing number of times, travelling, working (rather than trolling forums) and sorting out RL I've been gone some time now, but keep checking in and so pleased to see the game ongoing. I recently bought a PDA so I could trial the new EU2 PDA game.

I dont know if one can really recreate Tsunami again, but I am sure there are other things that will come along that will rise to the challenge in different guises.

Who's up to "recreate" Tsunami then? The old 1 session per week (dunno who started with it) is boring! for real! :p

I may be wrong, but wasn't Tsunami primarily about having a lot of players participating (up to 20 at one point)? So the question is who can host it if not Mowers, isn't it?

good question, and playing slow because we have no good host would be hilarious.
