Well?

I've been thinking of trying it in the IGC (v2.3), it seems an interesting country to play, i'm playing my first game as England at the moment, doing quite well, but 1792 draws ever nearer, and i need a new interesting country for my next game.

Ah, thanks found it, i tried searching for Serbia at first, and got drowned in load of irrelevant threads......

It only goes as far as 1497 though :(

Oh well, i'll try it anyways, and perhaps i'll make my very own first AAR.

I have tried actually a few days ago with serbia but gave up after ten years of frustration and bankruptcy... it proved initially very hard. You start off with a CB against ragusa that you think would be easy to destroy, but the attrition is a bastard, and eventually you are shafted by someone bigger.

If you do play as serbia i would suggest building up your forces and ability before considering attacking. An offensive serbia before 10-20 years of gameplay is imho a bad idea. Pull out of any alliances that place enemies at your borders, or within "walking distance".

I would be interested to see someone challenge that concept or do well with them. I seem to remember a number of other successful AAR's with similar nations (a moldovian AAR) that were very sucessful... even against the turk.
