The game loads, but I've not been able to get past the start of the game (i.e. past the introduction message when the campaign starts).

I've recently upgraded my OS to el capitane...but I recall having the same problem when I tried playing the mod a few months ago. I've removed local game files and installed again...to no avail.

Just wondering if someone else has the same problem, or if there is a quick fix. I can upload the log later if someone is interested.

Edit: No...I'm not running any other mods.

Actually I've just checked and I don't have the right checksum. Even for vanilla my checksum is different, although I've just deleted all game files and reinstalled.

Could it be because I don't have the Republics DLC?

No. DLC's don't change the checksum.

I'd make sure, when you initially uninstall, that you go back and ensure that any remaining files are manually deleted -- the uninstaller does not remove non-vanilla files.

Looking at your error log (which probably isn't the right one to post), the only unusual entries I see are the ones for resolution width and the one for "not enough holy sites for Aztec". The latter makes me think you don't have the proper landed_titles mod file, but I have no idea what could be causing the former.

Well I did everything I could think of, but my vanilla checksum isn't the right one. I have no clue what could be causing this, or if it is what causing my ck+ to crash.

Solved: I just had to make sure I delete everything before reinstalling. For some reason, deleting a few *empty* folders before reinstalling got my checksum to agree with the official one, and after that the mod runs perfectly fine (modulo a resolution problem which occurs with the vanilla version as well).

Thanks Rylock!
