Anyone has a workaround for the bug where you get stuck with an invisible co-consul forever?

I hoped getting rid of the glitch at election, but that did not help.

Then what about the one where the invisible co-consul demands a job he cannot get because he is invisibly co-consul?

This has to be a really good game since i keep playing it even when every game ends by me quitting and waiting for patch....
