Anyone in for a Marathon style game?

I've got 3 days where I'm not doing anything, and since it's the holidays for many people I thought I would see if anyone was up for a Marathon style game. We could start 10am CET monday (tomorrow), or a little later if any Americans wanted to join in, and then go right on until Wednesday evening european time, only stopping for sleep/breaks here and there.

I dunno if anyone would be interested in that, but if you are, drop in a line.

I think Bocajs idea was 10(monday)-24(wednesday) :D

I can join only later on monday :( ill see in this thread if that will work
 
Sure, this would probably be the only time I could do something like this :).

Hmmmm awesome. Let's do this! :)

I talked with John and we both agreed the best way of doing it might be to just start and then do tsunami style, pick and drop off players as we go while the game keeps on going. That way we should perhaps start in may 90 minutes if everyone's game for that, and then pick up those who wish to play afterwards.
 
I can "join" this "tsunami" if it is going in aprox. 3-4 hours :p ill use icq to let you know, hope all are having fun in threre ? :cool:
 
Well, I succeeded to turn Venice from being bitch of France to a medium sized European power with a more than decent holdings in North America :)

Thank's to Spain Venice got three additional provinces in Italy (in all, six Italian provinces gained, could have been worse :cool: ), but had to give my hide and soul for 20 years as payment, but I think the deal was good to both :)

Bought MA from England and used that as a springboard to America, from where the sole Venetian random conquistador a little later did overrun three native nations and explored new territory amazingly. Interior of NA turned to Venetian playground, and the COT of Tallahassee is one of the richest in the world. Inflation is gallopping and Venice has just Infra 3, but with good trade income and a comfortable lead in naval tech does give a nice warm feeling :)

Off to bed now, hopefully there will be room for me tomorrow at around 14 CET when I get home from work :)
 
Austria is big compared to her usual size, but Russia in particular is a fearsome neighbour (OE has very high tech though- so could become a danger rather rapidly)

Good luck to the next regent ;)

It was an interesting experience, but I think I like the usual type better :)
 
Fun 12 hours there. :) Took puny little Russia and swallowed Poland whole, and here's what happened:

Well, England's managed to mint and hypertech its way to 120 income :cool: . With the rise of Elizabeth to the throne, protestants have been purged all over England. The only ones still holding out are in Anglia, but they can't keep it up forever. Catholicism will rule!

I'm thinking I'll generate some better leaders, with an average of 4 stats. 3 averages just don't seem to cut it.

Venice can have a little monetary compensation for being idle. Sweden will have a larger compensation. The Netherlands will get an army, money, tech manu's and deflation for whatever events it's missed.
