Are there any plans for a variable speed control?

Simply put, the normal speed (represented by the single triangle, akin to a "play" button on most video playback devices) is simply too slow, and the fast speed option (two triangles, indicating fast forward) is too fast. Are there plans for a custom speed setting or even more speed options, maybe something kind of in the middle of the two current speeds? Its a minor gripe, but one that would really improve the gameplay experience in my opinion.

I'd say buff the normal speed a tiny bit (by 0.25-0.5 maybe, dunno what the base speed is, but I assume 1.0f) and put a setting in between > and >>. Maybe >,>>,>>>?

Very good point 1.25 and 1.5 speed would be perfect for me

I agree there needs to be a median speed like 1.5 between reg speed and fast forward.
