Yay, Brazil was the biggest country in south america when I started, so i took the other way. Here comes the story, following Carlos Irun, soldier in 1st Infantry Divsion and Marcelo T. Alvear, head of state. ( know short satrt of the story)
January 22nd 1936 - Office of Marcelo T. Alvear
Alvear looked at the men sitting around him. There was the Foregin minister Haracio Hoyanarate, the minister of security and intelligence Agustin Rodriguez, Cheif of both Staff, Army and Navy Luis Dellepione and Chief of Navy Tomas Zurueta.
"Gentlemen. War is rising in Europe. The superpowers will not have time to hold the world back. No one will notice about some small country in South America expanding a bit. We now have the chanse to make us an empire: make South America an Argentenian isle" he said.
"Alone?" Haoyarante asked carfully. "Alone it will be hard. And what about the US? They will not just sit there and watch"
"When the tim comes, USA will fall. Trust me. But for now, we have to created a little more room for us. Look at Uruguay and Paraguay. What do you think, Luis?" Luis Dellepione smiled.
"Almost no armed forces. Should go easy..."
And then, war was declare upon Uruguay and Paraguay.
Feburay 1st - Argentina - Uruguay border
The young soldier Carlos Irun looked up from the shelter against Uruguay. There awaited Anscución. There was night now, but daylight was soon to rise. The attack was planned to 7.00 am. A wissle blew and a horse was spotted on the road to the camp. The man at the horse came closer, and as he road in to the camp all the soldiers had gfone out to look who he was. The man, who had a kind of glory around him, looked at the men and said:
"I am Major General Mezquita. I will be you commander for the battle" The soldiers shouted that they would be him faithful to their death. Then, the army of Infantry divisions 1, 2 and 3 and 1st Cavalry divison marched towards Uruguay.
The battle was longer than the Argentinans had hoped, but they finaly came to the capital. In march 26th Uruaguay and Paraguay was annexed by Argentina.
