I have some issues with Armageddon that I have never quite resolved.
I install DD from CD onto my brand spanking new computer with good stat's running vista.
I download arma 1.2 from gamers gate. I run the arma 1.2 installer and update the earlier installation.
Start up HOI and it gives me the correct 1.2(insert letters here) screen. Go into single player. Then the Armageddon and abyss scenarios flags look odd. They are a creamy colour and have a cross in front of them. The game crashes on starting any of the scenarios.
I have solved this problem twice (once on old computer once on this one). However that involved repeatedly downloading, manually uninstalling HOI2 entirely repeatedly and installing it from new again until it works.
The only trouble with this option, if I play US the sliders have issues. They all say they require zero IC, I can move them but cannot see how many IC each one needs. This does not seem to happen with any other great powers but I haven't looked into the minors.
What I really want is to be able to install a working copy of amra without the cuffuffle of installing, manually deleting, installing the game over and over again.
