Hello,

I have a few comments after playing the game for a while:

a) Can I rename armies or fleets? It sounds strange to get messages like 'Fleet of the Baltic reached Okhotsk'.'Tikhookeanskij Flot' sounds so much more appropriate.

b) Can you write (optionally) a message when a army/fleet reaches a certain attrition level AND has no movement orders? I hate it to lose fleets who are lurking around because they were attacked by pirates en route and 'forgot' their final destination.

c) Building queues: Like in so many realtime games it would be nice to have a building queue. I have a colony in West Africa with a recruitment limit of 1. Theoretically I could have 24.000 Infantry after 2 years. Practically I had 4.000 when the Spanish attacked because I always forgot to 'renew' the order. Same would be nice for citywalls, i.e. say 'upgrade to level 5' and its done.

d) Make a possibility to 'goto' the event of the sound just played (like in SimCity). Now I have this very useful sound of 'troops being finished', but it could be everywhere.

e) 10% losses for sailing in packed ice are ridiculously low. It should be prohibited since it was impossible (no nuclear icebreakers in 1792). Furthermore, I never saw the sea of Azow icing, which happens regularely.

No unless you edit your saved game and change names from there.

NO. Check it often ! Tip 1 : unzoom the map and look where you have no fog of war. your fleet are there.
Tip 2 : program courses where the fleet ends in a harbour (use SHIFT + click to program nav points).

Wait for EU2...

Good idea. Or display yet another message with a go to option. Or remember where you build troops.

Make a petition for the new patch !

Hello,

I am doing that. The problem is: When a fleet gets attacked it forgets its movement path! and when this happens in an area where I have full 'radar coverage' all the time (frex Baltic, Black Sea, Persian Gulf) then zooming to max level does not help. And since I have fleets going around there most of the time I have to click EVERY SINGLE FLEET whether it is moving or idle!

Yep... :( try to have the fewest fleets possible.
Have the messages 'fleet engaged in...' displayed in a window so that you don't miss it.

But it will always happen...
