Loving the game so far, but ... I must be doing something very basic wrong ... I got married, positioned my courtiers, all working nomically except that:

I declare war successfully, raise levies, select the armies so the ring circles them, and mark them to move to the enemy territory then un-pause the game . They stand there. Their feet don't move, The enemy moves in, whacks up the small holding troops piecemeal, and my army will defend when attacked, but won't attack. Any ideas about what am I doing wrong? Everything else seems to be working OK.

I just downloaded it through Steam yesterday, playing with Steam, but still feel my troops feet set in cement. Maybe I need a patch. Or a sharp stick to get them moving.

A patch? No, the game was not released with a bug so severe that no-one could ever move troops. Either you are indeed doing something wrong, or your game didn't install properly and has corrupt files. What version and checksum show on the main game menu?

Did you go through the tutorials? When you tell your armies to march somewhere, do you get the arrow going from the start point to the finish?

Andrew, thanks for responding.

I found the issue. It was me ... another poster in another thread asked if I was right clicking to send the troops. And ... no ... I was using the regular left click. I don't recall anyone mentioning that before. I can see the logic of making it a special move, to avoid mistakes in troop movements.

Now tested and my troops march as commanded.
