In the A Clash of Kings start, if you have Robb lead a stack and siege Harrenhal for a couple of weeks at most, an event should pop up that she has been found.
I don't know about A Feast for Crows, as Jon Snow is unplayable right now (if you take Stannis' offer) but I presume that if as Jon you go to Braavos, you would be able to find her.

He's not unplayable, you lose the night's watch lands but it's not game over and you can just swear fealty to Stannis via interactions and it works out just fine...well, unless Stannis loses then you're a little boned.

Also, in the Feast of Crows date she's at the court of the holder of Braavos' top liege title...i think it's a Grand Patrician but i'm not certain. Once she becomes an adult, assuming she lives, you can try just to invite her to your court thought it's hard to do and may require cheating. As lord paramount Jon Stark of the north I discovered all my siblings by inviting them to my court, except for Rickon who had sadly died at some point before i found him. For Arya i had to Console cheat her religion back to Old Gods and culture back to northern and lower her lieges diplomacy to like 0 to get enough +s for her to want to come back.

Couldn't you have just landed an army you were leading in the province she was in? That's how you find her and Rickon during the Clash of Kings scenario.

Seriously? It's as simple as having my character 'visit' the province? No need even for a war?

I find it very strange however that in a lot of my playthroughs Rickon ends up in the North somewhere as a full blown adult, not necessary on Skagos and yet he doesn't come forward. I've seen him end up on the mainland of the north several times and none of the nobles seem to blink twice at a Rickon who has a direwolf with him. Bran ended up as Marshal of some duchy in the north without being identified, that was just plain silly, a crippled guy named Bran with a direwolf who doesn't even get a second look as he parades up and down the front of an army? Seriously?!

Yeah you only have to visit the province. It'll even pop up if your liege sends you to the province they're in as marshall, etc.

But I do agree about them never coming forward even if you win the war. I've lost track of both Bran and Rickon because they moved quite a few times.

There's a chance Stannis will gain Rickon as a courtier, though I'm unsure as to how beyond it involving Davos.
