Attacker is getting war score from holding objectives but does not actually hold any objectives or defenders land

Description​

Throughout the war we were correctly getting the correct war score from defending the target, then as the objective was being sieged down the attackers correctly got ticking war score from sieging it. As our army approached they abandoned the siege but continued to get the war score despite not occupying it. They are currently gaining ticking war score from holding objectives despite not occupying any land or sieging any land in the war target region or realm capital. They are however sieging land in the realm but do not occupy anything

Steps to reproduce​

I'm guessing this happened because the siege was abandoned? not sure.
