Sure I can help, all I need to know is who the publisher of your version is, since several different ones were sold there.

From left to right the CD has 3 logos Paradox, Strategy First, Auran. I have contacted SF and they said that the version was not compatable with the North American Patch. I contacted Paradox and they said that if the SF Logo was on the CD then it was the North American Version...i am a little confused so i have sent an email to Auran asking as well. Any help is very kindly needed.
