Australian Patch 105

Hi folks,

I spent considerable time going through this forum and reading up on the available patches for this game.

I have downloaded the 105 Australian patch and installed it on a new game installation, following the advice given in these forums regarding this patch. Although it has improved gameplay by reducing game freezes and CTDs, those problems still exist.

My question is this:

Am I right in thinking that the 105 Australian patch that is available on some sites is just a beta patch? Eg:

Ozisoft (which points to Infogrames):

At www.paradox-entertainment.com on their main page they list the patches for various countries but still state that the Australian patch, amoung others, is yet to come. This message has been on that page for several months now. Does anyone here know when the official 105 patch will become available, assuming that the patches available on the above mentioned URLs aren't the official patches?

Any comments on this matter would be appreciated.

yes and no. The patch was incomplete, but a fix for the scenario editor was released later. There will be no other 1.05 patch for the Australian release, as far as I can tell.
