Authication fail!

I am sad... I have just bought (the physical) magicka and i already have problems!
I installed the game automaticaly it was installed through steam i entered the code on my manual/paper.
But then when i start the game steam gives me another key and that i must enter it when the game asks for it to play online.
I tried playing online wihout to enter the key anywhere and it simpley said:Authication fail
Buuuut The game never asks for it! I looked around and found that if i register here it will get fixed but it didnt.
I looked around som more and didnt find anything so now i ask here.

PLZ HELP ME!!!

You don't need the key to play the game, that's why the game doesn't ask for it. The only thing you need the key for is to register on the Paradox forums to get support, which you've already done so don't worry about it

Sadly, online Magicka is more or less dead, almost no-one plays it anymore. So that's probably why you can't play online. Some people still do play occasionally though but not much. I'd personally be more than happy to play with you but I don't have much free time on my hands

Come on... The fact (or your opinion) that nobody plays anymore is not the reason for the authentication fail error.
This fix seems to work for some people? http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?572657-Multiplayer-stability-issues-Possible-fix.

And keep trying, I get authentication failed sometimes, just try another server or play single player for a while.
Also make sure you verify you cache in steam preferences.

Yea same, sometimes that happens. But if you try again and again it usually works. I had the same problem but now I can play MP easy. And yea a lot of people play magicka mp just that many people start games by themselves , (kinda dumb) hahahahaha!
