Authority leak?

I am experimencing sudden drops of authority at random moments, despite having a more than positive balance trough wars and general good balance of positive modifiers. I know that being at peace for too long or doing most of actions will cost me authority, but even when touching to nothing it just keeps dropping (sometimes by -50 or so).

Any clue on what would be amiss here? Something I might not had noticed?

Are you automatically stopping plots? Stopping a plot is -50 authority.

That explains about everything, I feel so stupid now. Auto-cancel plot became a reflex in default but is omething else completly here. Well, thanks, now the road toward the long-awaited Ptolemaic Empire is wide open!
