I tend to play with alot of planets and the current automation seems to be one of the worst ever they were never great or specialized worlds well.

But the current one keeps setting every world to trade hubs refuses to build mines farms or energy districts or any other world type and even if I tell it to make a world this specialization it still doesn't seem to build those districts really?

Yep automation is broken, it is known. IIRC the devs have plans to fix it, but the Out of Synch errors for MP take prio

The AI empires also seem to completely mismanage their planets, at least from what I have seen in game. Took over half of an empire in an early war, only for the new 11 planets I got from them to sink my economy harder than a concrete slab dropped to the ocean depths.

Felt like they were pulling a scorched earth on me, but no that was just how the AI built their planets...
