I'm experiencing the bad performance and am not using a laptop. It runs smoother in my 2011 Macbook Pro than in my PC. Windows 10 (tried the compatibility mode, doesn't solve the issue), 16gb, GTX 660, i5 2.9ghz, running out of an SSD with plenty of space.
