could some one give us a hand. I want to make it so bad boy is accumulated by violating a treaty or marriage rather than by having military success. and relations affected by ownership of eachother's core provinces.

If e.g. Austria owns a core province of the Ottoman Empire (all other things left aside) then the relations will get worse.
BB is not exactly accumulated by "military success". For example as long as you take only your own core provinces in peace deals you gain no BB for that - and taking your all your own core provinces as Austria or Russia I would say can be military success.

yeah well you aint helped answer the real question. how do i remove the effect of gaining provinces other than my cores on my bad boy?

You can however edit the savegame and set your BB to whatever amount you desire.
