Another idea I've had is maybe the creation of an omen, if this is even possible, used to reduce BB points by maybe one extra point a year, for a total of 1.5?

It seems very reasonable for nations of this time (And our time, even) to use religion to justify their war and conquests, and I feel like this would be a good idea if you let your BB get way out of control.

Personally, I wouldn't mind it replacing the ruler popularity gain omen, as I will never use that one or even consider using it.

EDIT: This is a pretty easy modification too, for anyone interested. I'll upload the new file and explain:

All you have to do is head to your common folder, open the omens file, and change divine_ruler from ruler_popularity_gain to badboy = -0.5. Works perfectly and I feel that is a good tradeoff during peacetime. I can't expand as much and I can't research as quickly, but if you have a high BB like me it'll only take a few years to work off as opposed to a few decades :p

Another edit: After playing for a while I found the -1 to be too powerful. Changing it to -0.5 should fix that.

Look in static_modifiers under # Global Static Modifiers. It currently sais badboy: -0.5. Have you tried writting that in the omen?
