Hello everyone,
These two mods have been in testing for a while, but after having tested them for 6 months they appear to be ready for wider adoption!
The first mod is a very simple Balance mod. It attempts to remove exploits and nerf S powered game mechanics as well as strength D and F powered mechanics by keeping the modifications as simple and lightweight as possible. Please share any exploits in this thread that are not covered. There are a few I've heard about after watching the tournaments and will likely add them to the balance mod.
The second mod is a very simple start of game self-handicap mod. Players can choose at start to rank themselves as Weak, Regular and Strong. Picking weak gives a +5% overall bonus, picking Regular gives no bonus and picking Strong gives a -5% overall bonus. Another mechanic in the mod will determine throughout the game who is the weakest and strongest player at a given moment and give them a +3% buff or -3% penalty on top of what they may already have chosen. This is to help players of different skill levels playing together more casually.
