Hello,

Im making a new mod focused on nations that live on Balkans.

New version 1.2 has following:



1) special legacy for South Slavic culture, Orthodox faith

2) special legacy for Arpad dynasty once they arrive to Pannonia

3) renamed titles for Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian culture (Knez, Kralj, Ban, Herceg, Vojvoda, etc)

4) new innovation for Serbians and Croatians that allows them to raid overseas (like Neretljani actually did in history)

5) added new dynasty and personal names for Serbian culture and removed made out dynasty names for same

6) added new culture Albanian, which spawns about 1000-1060 in historical Albanian counties, added dynasty and personal names based on historical data



Future plans for mod:

• -Special Legacy for owner of Constantinople, with variations depending of faith
• -Special event/decision based on Bloody Sabor of Krzevci
• -add interesting characters based on real historical characters ( Saints Cyril and Methodius, St Sava, Marko Kraljevic, Skenderbeg....)
• open to other ideas and suggestions

Hello,

If anyone is watching this i plan for next version to add new Legacy for Hungarians, Arpad legacy or something like that. Have some ideas how this should look like.....

Also i will try to make localization Titles for Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian nation. (župan, veliki župan, ban, kralj itd....)

so if there are any suggestions for Bulgarian and Hungarian titles please let me know.

Hello, well its not just for Arpad dynasty.....
here are conditions for this legacy

#Either be independent, or else not beneath another Mogyer.
#Must be a steppe Hungarian. (culture Mogyer)
#Must control a large chunk of Pannonia (at least 10 counties)

Thanks, good work and really needed since that area always lacks specific flavour.

I have one suggestion, since I've been reporting it to bugs and suggestions, but nobody cares Could you rename Niš to Toplica or Pomoravlje? Since there's already Naissus right next to it, with actual Naissus in it, there's no need for two same counties on the map. It's a mistake, but developers refuse to change it.

Other than that, this is a really good mod, I don't think you need to add much more to it, so it can be compatible with as much stuff as possible.

If you're even interested in tinkering with those things, and you could also share your mod there.

Yea it always bothered me to see Nis and Naissus counties next to each other, and they basically have same name.....
you can actually find a mod that correct this named more cultural names

It changes Niš county name to Vranje, not ideal by my opinion but much beater than vanilla.

As there is mod amending this and other stuff like Rashka to Raška, and other things like that, i think it would be useless to add this stuff in my mod as their is much beater and gives you a much greater specter of changes compared to what i could do.

here are some pictures of what is done

But looking at the history, through books or even Wikipedia in 9th century there was no king in Croatia. There was a King of Hungary and Ban (duke) of Slavonia and Dalmatia. In the whole history, there wasnt a Pope who baptised or crowned any Croatian "King" or Ban. Croatia supposed to be a duchy , and Bosnian culture in 9th century? Nice mod, but a historicaly accurate would be much nicer! Good job with localization btw!

I didnt make that there is a king in Croatia, this is in vanila game, nor i made Bosnian culture, i just gave them local title names.

Mod adds more flavor to playing Balkan area states.

New version 1.6 has following:

1) special legacy for Slavic culture, Orthodox faith - Saint Legacy - FIXED Abdication decision to show

2) special legacy for Tengry and Magyar religion that has Compound Bows innovation - Horse Lords Legacy - FIXED Legacy track/picture - CHANGED Legacy Perks now its like Viking Pillage Legacy but just with horses

3) renamed landed titles for Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Vlach, Hungarian, Greek culture (Knez, Kralj, Ban, Herceg, Vojvoda, Tsar, Komes etc)

4) renamed minor titles for Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Vlach, Hungarian, Greek culture (Tepčija, Logotet, Vojvoda, Uhoda etc)

5) new innovation for Serbians and Croatians that allows them to raid overseas (like Neretljani actually did in history)

6) added new dynasty and personal names for Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian culture and removed made out dynasty names for same

8) Integrated Additional Mines Mod with game rule to turn them off if you dont like these

9) Added NEW decision ,,Trade Agreement,, that alows independend rulers to sign agreement with Trading Republics if not too far away

Hello,

I'm preparing new version of mod, and i would like some help if any one is interested.

Im adding cultural names for Court Positions, so i would need help gathering these for Balkan area.

Just to make clear im only changing names for Court Positions that already exist in vanilla game

For now i have gathered some names for Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian cultures, so i need help with Carantanian, Bulgarian, Vlach, Greek, Hungarian cultures.
Maybe Carantanian culture can have same names, im not sure, this should be advised maybe someone from Slovenia?

Just note, im not looking for literal translation of these titles, but for real life historical titles, or at least a combination of literal translation and historical titles.

So, for example where you have Master of Horse i plan to use Gospodar Konjušar as Master means Gospodar and Konjušar was a medieval person that took care of horses.

First time some one is asking for this mod

I will release it straight away, but its far from what i want it to be....
I just don't have time to make it better, so hopefully this will be enough for you.

Also didn't want to spend too much time working on this mod until i see what will next DLC be, as i have a feeling it will be focused on Balkan,

So new version has the following:

1) special legacy for Orthodox faith - that has Religious Patronage - Saint Legacy - with decision to abdicate and special effect for building temples

2) renamed court positions for Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian

3) renamed landed titles for Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Vlach, Hungarian, Greek culture (Knez, Kralj, Ban, Herceg, Vojvoda, Tsar, Komes etc)

4) renamed minor titles for Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Vlach, Hungarian, Greek culture (Tepčija, Logotet, Vojvoda, Uhoda etc)

5) added new dynasty and personal names for Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian culture and removed made out dynasty names for same

6) added new special building ,,Novo Brdo,, mine

7) added couple of new artifacts (Cross of Jovan Vladimir, Strojimir Seal, Crown of King Zvonimir, Icon of Saint Demetrios)
