Dear everyone:

I'd like to simply Rant for a minute. I spent nearly 16 hours in HOI2 today. Of this, approx. 12 or so were spent on MP. Of that, about 10-11 were spent in games, waiting for games, or starting games.

I simply wanted to know what everyone's 'record time' is/was. I made approx. 4 Months once. EVeryone other time the game was reset, largely because of the NPC not picking up the Slack when someone dropped. *Hint Hint Paradox*.

Other than that, I just wanted to express my annoyance at this. And rant. and Gah!!!!!!

Anyways, I'd much appreciate anyone who wants to play a game. Or recruit me for a game, to just e-mail me @ pedal_original@hotmail.com. I can play SU, Germany, France, or just about anyone cept UK, Japan or the USA. (I hate Naval Warfare). I preferably play Canada when I have the choice.

Unfortunately you are far from being alone experiencing this. You and I have already talked a bit about it, but i will nonetheless write the words down, so that maybe like minded people will let themselves known.

Hoi is a game of endurance (@jgbaxter) and most people do not realize that. Those that want action should stick with battle scenarios. Guys that are always complaining about the game going too slow, and that constantly unpause should indeed play something else; either a battle scenario, 3d shooter or car racing game. You have got to realize that some countries require a lot more management than others, that all of us when loading as a country haven't got any experience with it and thus need some more time to set things up. ( This is btw why I quitted on the second game. I had had no time whatsoever to get into it, that somebody decided it had to roll on.)

Now, man, speaking from experience you will have to spend a good many hours in v-net before getting acquainted with the community. With time you will know the cheaters (to avoid at all cost), the quitters, the lunatics, the reliables. I think most of us that experienced good mp Hoi would tell you that it is mostly accomplished within a group. Find like minded people you like to play with, and get games organized. If not you'll be limited to pick up games and the venue of somebody able to host correctly.
