One line summary of your issue
FPS limiter please.

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Please include some form of FPS limiter. Currently my 980Ti is running between 200-150 FPS with no way to control it, and temp and fans running haywire hot & loud. Vsync in game or through Nvidia control panel, nor Hz limitations seems to help. MSI Afterburner with Riva tuner doesn't do the trick either. Please let ut force lower FPS to keep our cards sane.

I've tried Vsync in-game on and off and on again to see if it would click into effect. Also got Vsync "forced" on through graphic card settings. Nothing - so far - seems to work. Tried to limit FPS using Riva Tuner, but that doesn't work either. Windowed mode or full screen makes no difference.

I'm using a 144Hz Predator XB271H G-Sync monitor with a MSI 980Ti card.

You can force Vsync in Nvidia settings.
Ah, I see you tried that already.

Same here the game is just running haywire and is using up an unbelievable amount of power. I tried to switch Vsync on and off, and sometimes it seems to work, but as soon as there is a cutscene or an ingagme switch it is back to unlimited. Switching the monithor in different Modes from 60 to 144Hz does not help either.

Also, it uses up like 100% GPU load during cutscenes, where there is just a drawn image on the Screen, are you kidding me?

I am running it on a Radeon RX480 8G and an i5 6600k.

I have my FPS set in the Radeon Driver to 60 FPS but i dont know if the game recognizes that - i only know that my CPU gets 70° Celsius and my PC beeps temperature warnings.
I have no other game not even MWO that exceeds 60° Celsius by much.

I have the same issue with my R9 290x. Drivers are the latest as of today (18.3.4).

Can't seem to force it on or off either. GPU utilization at a scary 100%.
