One line summary of your issue
Black screen, screen flicker and game freezes

What platform are you running the game on?

Steam

What operating system do you use?
Win 10 - 64bit
Which version of the game are you running?
1.8.1-64OR
What DLC do you have installed?
Flashpoint,
Urban Warfare

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Updated my computer's CPU, graphics and monitor recently and now when I load Battletech the screen will sometimes keep flickering on and off. The only thing that fixes this is a computer reset.

Other times the screen will just go black and the game will lockup. A hard rest is the only way out of this.
Have you tried verifying your files?
Yes

Steps to reproduce the issue
1) Load saved game
2) Screen will begin flickering here - if not then step 3
3) Begin mission
4) Screen will randomly go black and the computer lock up.

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)

Windows: \Users\YourUserName\AppData\LocalLow\Harebrained Schemes\BATTLETECH\output_log.txt
Mac OS: Users >{name} > Library > Logs > Unity > Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/BATTLETECH/Player.log

If the game crashed, please attach the crash file with the time stamp closest to the crash.

I think you have a problem with your new AMD video card or its driver:
Fault bucket LKD_0x117_Tdr:3_TdrBug:575504_TdrVTR:0_IMAGE_atikmpag.sys, type 0

Fault bucket 1226657772681633812, type 4
Event Name: APPCRASH
Response: Not available
Cab Id: 0

Problem signature:
P1: dwm.exe
P2: 10.0.18362.387
P3: 8e064b77
P4: atidxx64.dll
You may see more detail in Windows Event Viewer.

You are on the latest recommended driver for AMD, which is not known to be bad, but you could try reverting to sme older one.

What options you have to check out its hardware I don't know, I'm sorry.

Hmm, don't think it's the hardware as every other game I play run perfectly. May be the driver and Battletech and how they interact with each other. I'll try a roll back.
