CTD upon mission load

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Upon every other mission load the game crashes to desktop without further ceremony. Meaning I can effectively play one mission per boot of the game. No crash log seems present.
Have you tried verifying your files?
Yes

Steps to reproduce the issue
Open the game, campaign, continue, contracts, choose contract and play it. After completion of contract accept another contract. Upon clicking deploy the game will seem to load the contract, however after a time estimated to be roughly that of the normal load the game CTDs, sometimes taking Steam or Discord with it.

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)

We see no crashes in either of those files. Was that output log taken just after one of these crashes? If not can we get a new one please.
