Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When I play any escort mission, as the escorted vehicles are successfully evacuated, the mission drops out of combat and back in even when enemies are on radar or in sight. The attached video shows this happening at about 2:15 when multiple enemies are within radar range, but this can also happen when standing right next to enemies or having them in sight. This can have major consequences to my game since I am usually in heavier mechs than the opfor and they will essentially get extra movements and turns, sometimes flanking me.

I have uninstalled the game entirely and deleted all files and registry keys according to the uninstall video. I have not disabled Steam cloud or deleted my save games as they have a lot of time invested in them and I don't want to lose all that investment.

Here is another video of a more precarious instance of this happening along with the save file during the mission a few turns before this happens. I decided to take the save file beforehand since I figured something like this would happen on this escort mission.

Same problem here. Even when all enemy units were visible. I'd even fired on them and take some fire from them. Soon as the transports take off, the enemy all takes a free turn of movement and there's nothing I can do.
 
This seems to happen any time the game has to 'interrupt' for the DropShip animation. If I remember correctly, it happens in Capture Base missions too if you put someone into the capture zone before killing all the opfor units.

And just to add can happen multiple times on scripted story missions.
3 Years later will break combat turns twice once you take down the initial compound, you lose 2 rounds for some mechs just trying to get your mechs past that initial compound after taking down the turrets and the two light mechs.
I kept wondering why I was so out of position relative to how it used to be until I noticed the 2nd subtle break.
 
I don't remember this happening back when I played it earlier in 2019. It was probably around 1.6 or something when I used to play it.

Also, pretty sad how long this has gone without a response from the developers.
 
I discovered the other day that during this forced out of combat phase, you can't shoot or melee attack, but you CAN death from above.

They don't respond directly to bug reports as far as I know.
