In the GoG Mac edition saves go to:
~\Library\Application Support\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\50593543263669699\Storage\Shared\Files\C#\SGS#\

Any problem with that folder or accessing it?

You say with this version - I think GoG have a way to revert to older versions, if so do 1.9.0 and 1.8.1 have this issue too?

I see, so the same version that used to work okay for you back when, now has this problem. That makes it clear the issue comes from outside the game.

Is it that the saves do not get written to that folder ? Or they do but do not get synced up to the GoG cloud?
