One line summary of your issue
My Modded Client dropped into a match with a Vanilla Client
What platform are you running the game on?
Steam
What operating system do you use?
Windows 10
Which version of the game are you running?
The absolute latest version of the game.
What DLC do you have installed?
Flashpoint,
Urban Warfare,
Shadowhawk Pack,
Heavy Metal
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I set up a MP Lobby with my Modded Client, secure in the sure knowledge that NO ONE but another similarly Modded Client could join me for a Match. So I chose to not use a password.
Lo and behold a friend of mine who I routinely play Vanilla MP with dropped into the Lobby. I immediately asked him if he had the Mod.
When he responded that no, he was running Pure Vanilla, I knew something was not right.
I told him what was going on and asked his forbearance and suggested that we try to drop.
We both readied up and the Lobby dropped us toward a match...
...a match that never materialized as finally and not all that unsurprisingly an Infinte Loading Bug prevented our match.
I’ve never had this happen before.
I am not 100% sure this is even a bug, please disregard if this is BATTLETECH as it is intended to process Modded v Vanilla MP.
Have you tried verifying your files?
Yes
Steps to reproduce the issue
I was using the BATTLETECH Integrated Modloader to load a series of Mods, bd’s Clan Beta and CWolfs The Skirmishers.
My friend had pure vanilla BATTLETECH with no Mods.
I hosted, he joined.
It was that simple.
However I finally have ModTek up and running and thus have no intention reproduce this in order to pull the following logs, diags and files.
Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)
Attach Output Log
