One line summary of your issue
Priority mission complete but doesn't continue story

What platform are you running the game on?

Steam

What operating system do you use?
Windows 10 latest
Which version of the game are you running?
1.7.1-598R
What DLC do you have installed?
Flashpoint,
Urban Warfare

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I completed Defense: Panzyr and then when I went back to the Argo and checked my mission board, it was the priority mission again. It won't continue the story. None of the usual post-priority dialogue plays and it lets me play the mission again, and again and again without moving forward.
Have you tried verifying your files?
Yes

I wouldn't bother. I reported a similar storyline bug with Panzyr and no-one from HBS/Paradox has paid any interest. I've seen others reporting the same, that the storyline just stops and bugs out. I was really looking forward to this game but if the core missions are so buggy and known to be like this, what was the point? I'll certainly reconsider buying any HBS products in future. I initially queried this on the Battletech Twitter feed and was told to report this via the Paradox technical support ticket system, who then told me that they don't actually provide that kind of technical support and to report here as it would be picked up. Nearly two months have passed since that. I'm wondering whether I should request a refund for a thoroughly broken experience.

One line summary of your issue
Priority mission complete but doesn't continue story

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I completed Defense: Panzyr and then when I went back to the Argo and checked my mission board, it was the priority mission again. It won't continue the story. None of the usual post-priority dialogue plays and it lets me play the mission again, and again and again without moving forward.
For the second time, I've seen wonky behavior (this one too) fixed by deleting as many old save files as possible. I also deleted the files that came after the trouble. I replayed the mission and it fixed.

I got stuck with this issue but didn't have the benefit of a save file that went far enough back to before I completed the 1st bugged version of "Liberation: Itrom" so the only fix was in the forum post titled:
BATTLETECH - Itrom priority contract never appears

(I'd link the thread but I cannot post links due to their forum spam protection settings >.>)
