Maybe I am speaking to early, but it seems that in my game as Bavaria it is to easy to run over Europe. It is still the 15th century, I have all ready consolidated my hold on the Empire, & I am poised to strike east. Maybe some events are going to come up that will shake the empire, but this is even faster than I can move with Austria. Just so I do not sound all negative, I really do like the idea, & I am having a good time. I was just wondering if it was meant to be this easy (did I choose the France of the scenario?) or is it a game balance thing that will be toned down over time.

Yup, the leaders are simply insane, and I already cut them in two in the last version.

Thing is our mp test runs showed that Bavaria could have a tough time still, though holding itself against considerable odds. Still she should be on the "to nerf" list.

Any nation is strong in SP. Bavaria's big advantage is their large starting support limit and their excellent starting cultures. They have easy access to the gold in tyrol and the COT at Flandern (with CB yay!). The Hussite Wars are easy with Ernst in command, though Bohemia has excellent generals as well. Honestly, I think the issue isn't so much that they have good position as they have excellent leaders and monarchs, and as far as I know the peasant's war event doesn't trigger ever...though it might for other people, I've never had it go off in 3 games as bavaria...though the resolution event does.

I agree with that. I find that only two methods are somewhat reliable to judge the power of a country : AI hands-off games and MP games.

Although both methods have disadvantages (personality and relative skills of the Multi-Players, AI inability to efficiently handle colonization/trade/naval warfare).
