My issue seems to be a plague in this forum. It is game breaking as I am unable to save past 16MB. 300K pop. 25 tiles. No dlc. It’s that 16MB…

This has been a problem since the release of the remastered edition. When it came out I was so excited. I had to buy the series X as I had the OG advanced warfare edition Xbox one. Along with a new headset and controller, and down ~750 I was ready to play 25 tiles on cs. I was siked. Also for hogwarts legacy, I can’t lie. phenomenal game.

well that was months ago. Haven’t been able to play since. There have been updates to fix sound glitches and other minor issues but not even an update on such a major issue. To be honest if this is how game breaking glitches will be dealt with for us console players i really don’t I’ll be buying CS2. I mean can we get an update? If it’s not fixable an apology? Or maybe our money back for a broken game we can’t even play….

i loved cities skylines on my old Xbox. Sure it overheated it, was laggy and buggy as hell, but it was too great not to play. Seriously one of my favorite games! Unfortunately this experience has pushed me in other directions.

Hope things have gone better for the rest of you skyliners

I've done more research and it seems the console version of Cities: Skyline II will be handled for Colossal Order themselves instead of relying on Tantalus to do the port. The console version of Cities: Skylines I has been handled poorly throughout the lifespan of the game. Colossal Order turn a blind eye to issues on consoles and point players to these forums where Tantalus doesn't acknowledge them. I'm glad Tantalus won't be touching Cities: Skylines II as it should mean us console players get WAY better support and ACTUAL communication on issues.

I'm still not 100% confident to buy Cities: Skylines II at launch though until I see there is this level of communication though.

For me it’s pretty easy: I love the games, but I will wait for what cs 2 will bring in terms of bugs and other things when launching For a long time.
Not fixing game breaking bugs for months and then asking me to buy version2? Fool me once…

I’m with you 100%!!! I say we all don’t buy the game. God knows it won’t be fixed and we definitely won’t get refunds if it never worked from day 1.

but PC gets their horrific laggy rain sound and glitchy tree leaves fixed in less than a week ??? I mean is this a joke?

While this brings me hope, as the other guy mentioned. Fool me once.

I’ll wait til the game goes on sale. This companies already gotten enough money out of me on a game I can’t even play…….

unfortunately I feel this will become the norm as PC is of course their main audience.

While this in no way excuses Tantalus from fixing remastered, you are aware that the old version still works on S/X, no? Performance should be better too; running the PS4 version on PS5 I have silky smooth frames no matter how busy the city

I’m aware and I, for a short while, played that instead. But for the 4th(?) or so time I’ve maxed out my city in the 9 blocks allowed. It sucks and gets boring quick. Of course me personally that’s just how I like to build. I wish I could show off my city to show you what I mean.

it’s also just the principle of it being so long and not a word from them, but they’re happy to let people keep buying it without knowing.

what makes matters even worse for my situation. I just bought ‘hell let loose’. A WW2 really in depth Milsim. Like battlefield V on steroids. Wanted it for a while and figured eh why not, they’re not fixing CS might as well buy something to occupy my time. Welp you can’t even communicate cuz of a huge bug in that game too for Xbox players….:/ Im just taking L’s bro

Anybody has any idea how to be more annoying also towards Tantalus? Some public video game pages / twitter accounts / cities skylines fans with influence? I mean its really 0 feedback... wtf?

I wish. From what I read they don’t take calls only online forums like this.

they’ll just ignore it until CS2 comes out more than likely. It’s been this long they’re not gonna do anything this much later lol.

this lack of effort/care/bug fixing towards the console community has really turned me off to the idea of buying another one of their products. I know I’m not the only one but I think enough is enough. I’m just not going to buy their products anymore as if it doesn’t work it’s not like they’ll fix it, repay me, or even give a flying f….

nothing will change unless we all stop buying or all complain about it at once:/

Yes I agree 100%. What I mean is some more visibility on a level that damages their sales for cs2 possibly severely. Like a nice article about this on Reddit or from this forum that gets picked up from an online magazine or similar that gets much further reach.
when it gets to a level where it may hurt sales, people from this industry tend to listen a bit more… let me see what I can do…

I’ve seen a lot of Reddit pages discussing this issue, and they’re a lot more pissed than we are. Many of them are boycotting CS2 until it’s been out months because of this. They’ve got quite the following and I don’t disagree, if there’s a huge rift in sales for console games they WILL listen to what we’re asking for, which isn’t much….

they’ve lost a LOT of fans, just on Xbox alone there’s literally 0 LFG posts when they’re used to be bare min a dozen or so of people asking for help/discussing the game/giving advice/comparing cities/etc. now there’s NONE.

I’d love to see more people play this game, but if this is how console players will be treated, the sales WILL reflect that.
