Have you read American Caesar: A USA Kaiserreich AAR by @Bloodfelt? Well, I need exactly ten seconds to explain it to you:

"America is falling into anarchy. The republic is in chaos. And the republic needs a sword. A leader."

Enter one Douglas MacArthur. @Bloodfelt has woven an alternate history story around the famed (or perhaps infamous) General surrounded on all sides by enemies in a Second American Civil War. This version of MacArthur remains tied to his historical origins while acting in a believable way for the circumstances. (Chapter 14 caught a few of us by surprise, but once @Bloodfelt explained the reasoning, it does make sense for General MacArthur to do what he did.)

This week, I strongly recommend you check out American Caesar and my nominee for Best Character Writer of the Week: @Bloodfelt!
Congrats @Bloodfelt

Congratulations to @Bloodfelt . This is an excellent AAR and the controversial lead character is well crafted. Well done!

Thank U all!

I’ll try to find someone to nominate next week. Honestly, MacArthur’s character is pretty controversial and complicated. On one hand, he’s all about being conservative and militaristic—he really believes in a strong military and isn’t afraid to take a tough stance. But then, on the other hand, he’s surprisingly progressive when it comes to his work in Japan. After the war, he helped shape Japan’s reforms, pushing for democratic changes, land redistribution, and even some pretty bold social reforms, like improving women’s rights and labor rights. It’s a pretty radical shift from his usual tough, military side.

And of course, we have to keep in mind the changes in the Kaiserreich timeline. That really messes with the usual course of history and adds even more layers to his character. So, yeah, it’s tricky figuring out how to pin down his political views and actions given all these different an

Hey everyone! Whenever I think about characters in Paradox games, my mind always jumps to Crusader Kings III—there’s just something about those characters that grabs you, right? So, I hopped onto the CK3 forum to see what was cooking, and guess what? I came across this really cool AAR that totally caught my eye.

It’s called Alae Imperatoris - A Roman Story , The Fallen Eagles mod AAR, and it tells the wild tale of Carolus and his quirky “family.” Without giving away too much (no spoilers, promise!), after his estate goes up in flames, Carolus and his gang set off on a crazy journey through a crumbling, dying Roman Empire. There’s betrayal, love, battles—basically all the drama you could ask for.

I was totally hooked on Carolus from the get-go. I love his caracter. He is written in the best way possible, and that’s why I’m nominating this AAR. Also, I love how the caracters interact with each other.

Even though it’s only just getting started, I’m super confident that @Silverio90 is going to deliver an epic story. Big congrats to them, and I can’t wait to see where this adventure goes!

I want to thanks everyone who voted me but I'm not too good with these technological bleep-blop (I inserted all of you in the multi-quote but nothing happened), so I hope you guys can know it's very appreciated <3

So, @Silverio90, any chance you can choose a successor?

Uo, i thought I nominated here too, my bad.

OK then, small preamble: this AAR has just started so for the moment there is little meat on the fire ... but that is exactly what leads me to make this nomination.
The AAR in question is The Last of Dumnonia - A Cornish AAR of @Werson . The setting is one of the most classic possible, and not even one of my favorites: Britain invaded by the Northmen. But it is precisely the banality of the setting that, in my opinion, goes to highlight the author's writing ability: in particular, one of the characters who impressed me most is King Dungarth. And the funny (and really impressive) thing is that he has appeared really very few times in the story so far but the aura he has in the work (because of the way the characters and the protagonist talk about him) have helped make him one of my favorites. I'm confident he will continue with the same quality it has now.

Thanks @Silverio90 for completing the process and finding a new and worthy AAR. Congrats to @Werson ! I have just started following this AAR but it is indeed worthwhile so far. Great choice.
