The mod's goal is to easily delete things that you otherwise could not delete or easily delete.

Do you plan on adding a functionality to mass-remove objects as well? For example trees (it's a nightmare having to go tree by tree and trying to brush them away)
Have you tried setting the strength to maximum, unselecting the snapping option for match type, prefab, or whatever (the symbol is a box with dashed lines), then right click? It’s not perfect but it’s vanilla. It will also delete standalone props placed with DevUI.

No I actually haven't tried that, when Extended Road Tools releases and I'll come back to playing CS2 I'll have a look and see if it works. Thanks for the quick reply!
 
How do I enable this in game? I activated this mod, but I don't see any new icons on my screen. When I click on the usual bulldozer icon, it's the same as before. I have the unified icon mod installed too.

You don’t need to do anything to activate it beside subscribe to the mod with your active play set. There are no settings for this mod in the options menu yet so you can’t verify the mod loaded that way. There is a log file in your logs folder called mods_yenyang_better_bulldozer.log that will verify the DLL is loaded. If you need a way to verify Ui is loaded I can explain that. Ultimately I’d just recommend restarting and selecting the use mods option at start up. Hope it works.

But how do you use it? I don't see any icons on the screen, and like I said, the regular bulldozer is still just the regular bulldozer.

You should see additional icons in the tool options panel while using the vanilla bulldozer. Do you happen to play with game pad or do you use a mouse?
 
This mod is broken. It is the only mod I have enable along with Unified Library. When you click the bulldoze icon, it removew the UI and the game becomes unplayable.

The mod is not broken. Restart the game and hope that everything loads correctly this time. I am not responsible for whether the UI and the DLL for the mod are loaded. If that works correctly, the mod is fine.

Out of curiosity, what are you guys doing with this mod? How useful is it to you?
Custom parking lots is a big one. There are a lot of stuff in the DevUI add object menu that are difficult to delete and cannot be deleted with vanilla bulldozer. This mod makes it convenient to use those items because they can now be easily deleted.

No, unless you’re using a game pad, you may just be having general mod loading issues. That is not my responsibility, hopefully CO/PDX make mod loading more reliable soon.

I just wonder, is it possible to use it to remove buildings/assets which spawns in the industry area (eg excavators, mines, stables etc). I tried to use some options but it always remove whole industry area…

I am working on a subelement bulldozer which will be able to remove those. I haven’t worked on preventing their spawning though, which is random. So I don’t know how it will behave.

I started having a problem today when I go into the bulldose menu and try to bulldoze something it pops up an error message everytime I try to do it. If theres anyway you can fix that it would be lovely.

I don’t know what the error message is. You can attach a player.log and mods_yenyang_better_bulldozer.log files here.
