Big problems with trying to host/join game

Very basically said everytime I try to host or join any game trought lan/internet/valernet my host and join buttons just don't do anything. They might ask pswrd but after that nothing. Even if game is open nothing. And maybe you allready quess that when I try to host nothing happens.

Nothing I don't know what is going on but eather my game is badly broken(installed, uninstalled, installed, patched etc) or something wierd is going on.

Any help for this kind of issue?

I think we had such problem with HoI 1 once. It was problem of badly installed DirectX IIRC. Try to uninstall/reinstall DirectX.

They should be ok... Anyway I just reinstalled them, still same problems. DX 9.0C installed atm.

Try uninstall DirectX first (using DirectX Uninstaller), then reinstall it from scratch.

If problem still persists, try unistall and reinstall game. And hope it helps

The identical case in HoI1 of which Ederon speaks was caused by installing the game Port Royale 2. If you have installed it, try to uninstall to see if it helps.
