Bio ships causing loss of food despite no ships anymore.

Can anyone explain this? My fleets are completely gone and yet it still says that I have -3k food due to ships. I'm running the new biological ship sets and the Wilderness origin which is why my fleets are affecting my food. But this just randomly happened by itself while I was at war with another much smaller empire.

Go place a bug report. Something is causing upkeep for ships to increase for not just organic ships but regular ones as well, even with 0 fleets.

My fleet size usage was also buggered. It didn't match the ships I had. It wouldn't surprise me at all that these "Phantom" ships were also requiring upkeep. I first noticed it when my ships were evolving through the 3 stages, so I suspect the young ships aren't properly deleted when replaced with new ones.

Had a similar experience, from a >1K energy capacity surplus to constantly being in the red after picking the Eternal Vigilance ascension perk, even after disabling that new dumb policy that came with it

It might be that disabling the policy only stops more platforms being built rather than removing them (and thus the upkeep remains?).
