So, I'm playing as Italy, allied with Germany. We've completely crushed the soviet union, but the bitter peace will not fire, I have no clue why. Japan is NOT allied with us, nor is Japan at war with the soviet union. We have taken the 5 key provinces, so why won't it fire? We are still at war with England and France of course.
Oh, and I tried loading up the save as Soviet Union and entered "Event 2624", when the event fires I click the only option it offers and the game CTD's everytime... what's going on here?
I had to take Lenningrad, Moscow, Stalingrad, Baku, Chelybanisk, Sverdolosk and Kurgan for it to fire. I was playing as Germans with no Japanese involvement. Have you taken all of those provinces yet?
Yea i've taken all of those provinces, not sure about Kurgan though. Where is Kurgan located, farther than Sverdolosk? that's the farthest we got. We are also at war with the United States, not sure if that makes a difference.
So, I found Kurgan, it was right there next to Sverdolosk. In any case the event still isn't firing. I just want some clarity, what conditions NEED to absoulutely be met for this event to fire? What will cause it not to fire? I'm confused how other people can get the BP event, and it is not working, something can't be right. It's very frustrating.
bit of necromancy but i think its relevant:
ihad the same problem, held those 5 key provinces but the event just ouldnt fire, got pushed back due to lack of supply and frustrated found this thread, so, an autosave reload did the trick, event fired immediately
