Please run a DirectX Diagnostic:
Start menu - Run - then type Dxdiag, then select each tab across the top of the window, and run the tests on each tab. Then select "Save All Information" button in the lower right of the window. This will bring up a dialog box to allow you to select a name for the file where the information will be saved. You can save it right on the desktop as this will make it easy to find. Then copy the contents of that file from the start to the heading that says "DirectX components" then paste what you have copied into a post in this thread.

I have the same problem, the info window has black/white lines on it making it hard to read the text when i drag the mouse over something

I have this problem if I alt-tab while the game is loading. If I don't alt-tab I don't have the problem.

@Mengil the only problem I see with your system is you use VIA drivers which are known to be buggy. The only thing to do is always ensure you have the latest version.

Actually i have been alt tabbing 
Game stops loading when trying to initialize sound and an error appears on desktop that i have to click on to proceed loading the game.

Game stops loading when trying to initialize sound and an error appears on desktop that i have to click on to proceed loading the game.

I get the same problem if I alt-tab when the game is loading, no biggie.

Okay obviously the game does not deal well with alt-tabing under some setups.
