I just downloaded HoI2 Complete through Steam, and when I went to try to play it I discovered that in everything after the intro movies (so, the menu and in-game) the screen "flickers" black every so often. Sometimes it just happens once or twice, and sometimes it can be constant. This doesn't exactly make the game unplayable, but it is extremely annoying, and after I already paid good money for the game it doesn't seem like something I should have to deal with.
My first though was that maybe my laptop wasn't up to running it, but it's a fairly new laptop and it doesn't have any problem running Galactic Civilizations 2 (well, I get a little bit of lag every so often, but I don't get this annoying screen flicker, that's for sure). So, what might be the problem, and how can it be fixed?
