Windows XP with ATI Radeon X700 Pro graphics card, updated drivers, DirectX 9 installed.
When I start the game, whether in full screen or windowed mode, it fails to load any graphics whatsoever; I get a black screen and the hourglass. If I wait long enough, I get a black screen with a gauntlet. Music plays the entire time. Any idea why the graphics would totally fail to load? This same system has worked to run both EUIII and VickyII, so I would expect Crusader Kings II to work as well...
