Blinking Graphics

System Specs:

AMD 2600XP
Gigabyte 7VAXP KT400 Mobo
512 MB Ram DDR333
GF4 TI4400 128MB vid card Driver 4403 (Latest WHQL)

I'm getting a blinking screen when playing HOI 1.05 with my GF4. I've tried reinstalling 2 or 3 times, as well as abstaining from installing the Stony Road Sprites, and the other Mods sitting on my HD waiting to be installed with 1.05. It'll blink randomly, sometimes 3-5 times in a row, no matter if I'm looking at the starting menu, the game screen itself or any of the other submenus.

I don't have any graphics issues with any of my other games (WWIIOnline, CFS2, Arcanum, etc.) with much higher system spec requirements. Also, the problem prevents me from playing more than 5 or 10 minutes, because of how irritating it is for my eyes.

I've tried adjusting the refresh of my screen up and down, and that doesn't seem to be helping. I haven't tried going to a different version of the Nvidia drivers, but again, I'm not having any problems with anything else.

Any Suggestions would be helpful.

This typically happens when there is something else running... for example:

- An icon on your Windows start bar (like a status indicator for inbound mail, system temperature and such)

- WinAmp or some other amp with scrolling information

I think I figured out what the util was. It's the Easytune software that came with my Gigabyte Mobo. It didn't like me running it in my taskbar when trying to run the game as well.
