Blinking ....??

Everything goes fine except one thing when my CK is running: it blinks.

Game blinks constantly to the extent that i can't see the screen.

Is this another kind of crash?

(it doesn't seem to be a video card problem..)

I’ve tried this game on 15 or so different computer (the downright awful performance of v1.00 makes you computer-hopping happy ), and on two, both laptops btw, there was this blinking. It did not cause crashes…. well what do I know!!…. v1.00 crashes left and right (get v1.02 its much better).

It is a video problem, cause in both cases it could be cured with minimising hardware acceleration (under properties for display). However I never been fun’d of this option to solve video problems, case it effects everything on your computer, not just this game.

One of the laptops has a VIA/S3G unichromes card, and it turned out they just released a new driver 1 week ago. After installation of this it was much better but not completely gone. Before it was like a blink every 2-5 sec, now it’s down to once every 20 sec.

They is always an underlying cause for this if you would like to open your own thread on the problem I would be happy to help you find it.
Please do not Hijack this thread, although syptoms maybe the same the cause could be totally different.

The man stats a blinking problem, I state I’ve seen it too and a possible solution, so what is the problem???

I have null, zippo, zero clue, - what so ever - what the problem is????

So before throwing stuff at me, please show me the curtsey of explaining – and yes please do it like I’m 5 years old – what exactly the problem is and what you think I’ve done!
