It would be cool to have a blueprint mode prior to build. On this layer you could lay down roads to plan your city. Example, you want to connect a district to a boulevard, you enter blueprint mode, you lay down roads, place zoning etc. And in live mode you could see a construction sign like "Spring 2024" at the intersection of the boulevard and the entrance of the district. Then, construction workers start by building roads, then buildings, service, etc.... that would be awesome for realism
