BMP files not found? New install, just patched.

Palette \gfx\palette\EYR_BTN_BACk.bmp not found!
Palette \gfx\palette\EYR_BTN_forward.bmp not found!
Palette \gfx\palette\EYR_symbols_palette.bmp not found!


Version: fresh install (1.04), just patched to latest beta, since it was crashing on graphics at first.
Action: Starting the first campaign. first location.
Reproducable: yes, each time I start it.

Back to the problem:

It sounds more like you have installed a DV patch over a CK game.

Are you sure you have Deus Vult (DV) installed ? Deus Vult is an expansionpack for CK.

If you have DV, try reinstalling it

Seeing your edit, it looks indeed like you just have Crusader Kings and not its expansion pack DV. The last patch for Crusader kings is patch 1.05, which can be downloaded here
