Bohemia Capitol Loss on Succession

Description​

My Character is the King of Bohemia and has twice lost the capital territory to another heir on Succession. My capitol is Praha and I have Confederate Partition Succession with Feudal Elective laws over the Kingdom and Jarldom of Bohemia. The first born son seems to inherit regardless. Playing Ironman, Achievements On, 867 Start with custom Norse Catholic as Jarl of Bohemia. Formed Hybrid culture between Norse and Czech replacing Czech Culture. "Table of Princes" not learned or available after hybrid culture formed. Kingdom of Bohemia was formed with "Found a new Kingdom" Decision.

Steps to reproduce​

Start 867, Custom Norse Catholic as Jarl with Capitol Praha, Hybrid Culture with Czech, Multiple Male Sons.

Well, this is your Issue, you have an Elective Law on both Titles, you only need the Duchy to have the elective law, because the Game has an Bug, when all your Titles are Elective.


And why did you found a custom Kingdom with Bohemia in 867, Bohemia is already a 1 Duchy Kingdom, you only need to conquer Moravia back.

I admin that it seems odd but the game told me my succession capitol was going to the wrong heir. I only created the extra law as a experiment to prevent what it was going to do. As it did not change the result of the succession I simply never removed it as to avoid game penalties of destroying a law. Are you saying that it would have gone to the correct heir if I had never created or removed the law even though the game stated in the succession menu that the capitol would be lost?
As far as the custom Kingdom goes it was cheaper at the time as had extra Prestige and Piety but gold was on short supply. I would have liked to move more south for Great Moravia however the Kingdom had already adopted the Catholic faith preventing me from easily taking it in holy wars. Also I uploaded the file after the second time it happened after trying to recover the situation in game. Character got murdered twice for my attempts.
