Please take note that this is not really, and I intend it to be nothing more than a stroy of fascism in a alternate-reality. Give me enough time and I'll have a Commie Canada AAR. Also; I'd like to express my respect for the 900 men of the Lux Army who are serving in Serbia this moment.

January 1st, 1936- Differdange, Luxembourg

The sun rose over the fields of Germany that led into the fields of Luxembourg, and Albert Wehrer was brooding again. The day before he had watched Grand Dutchess Charlotte openly deny an affair with Hitler.
"Why!" Wehrer thought aloud, "She knows fascism will prevail in the future!" He quieted again, he was listening to his radio wait the results of the impromtu election held a month before.
"THE SOCIALIST'S PART HAS WON! CHARLOTTE IS STILL IN POWER!" the radio screamed. Wehrer smacked his head down on the table.
"NO, dammit!"
"Calm yourself my Nazi friend," said the cool voice of Damian Kratzenberg, "You an I will have our time to rule, soon. [Norbert] Dumont has no idea we are training a special forces unit right under his nose. Soon we will have power and Luxembourg will be, dare I say, the forth reich!"
"The people! They will not follow! How do we get them to listen?!" demanded Wehrer.
"Simple, give them a hero; a martyr to the fascist cause! For the cause of Luxembourg!" Kratzenberg proclaimed.
"Who! Speller! de Luxembourg! Wagener! Who I demand! WHO?" Wehrer was outof his chair furious at how cooling Kratzenberg was reacting to their third strait loss in the elections.
"Cool yourself, give us time. [Joseph] Bech is still in power. He has sypathy to the fascist party."
"So! What will he do?"
"We invite him over, and tell him about a Belgian threat! All we need is a war! A war to get ourselves a hero!"
"No, we have no army, we will be a part of Belgium in a day."
"That leaves us two options, to sit here and wait for the people's support. Or a coup de'tat." Kratzenberg remained cool, even though what he spoke of was treason.
"How? We have sixty men we've trained to fight. How will sixty beat the palace guards? We need support!" Wehrer yelled, his voice echoing off the walls of his estate.
"Hitler."
"HITLER!?"
"Yes, he is as furious about the rumors of the affair. Plus he will want a fascist government in power because he wants Luxembourg to be a part of the Nazi reich! He'll believe that if we were in power we'd be more likely to give the nation over to him." Kratzenberg stated.
"What if he makes us a puppet reigme?"
"He won't."
"What tell's you that!"
"He won't want to risk war before his own war machine is ready!" Kratzenberg shouted.
"Ok, I'll go to Berlin, and talk to Hitler myself." Wehrer suggested.
"You do that."

Febuary 15th, 1936- Berlin, Germany

"You see, Mr. Hitler. The people of Luxembourg are fed up with the Socialist party, and are ready for a fascist reigme like your own of Italy's," Wehrer was shaking so hard his voice was shaking.
"Albert," Hitler said, as if Wehrer had been his own grandson, "If I remember properly, if the Socalist's win an election; they have the majority of supporters. Unless, Germany was doing it wrong in the days of Hindenberg."
"Ballots can be stuffed."
"ARE YOU ACCUSING ME OF STUFFING THE BALLOTS!"
"No, sir! You won far and square. I am a fascist, you are a Nazi; it all works out. I am accusing Charlotte of stuffing the box."
"Yes... I see... I'm sorry. I will think on your preprosition. Come to me in June when I host the olypics, there I will have thought enough to have a good descision..."
"Thank you Mr. Hitler."
"Please, Albert... my name is Adolph." Wehrer smiled, nodded then left the room.

Febuary 18th, 1936- Esch, Luxembourg

"Albert! What did Hitler say?"
"He said he'd think about it."
"Good, he could have just killed you right there! When will we have an answer?"
"He said we'd have it in June at the Olympics."
"GREAT!" Kratzenberg cheered, "We need a team!"
"Charlotte has to agree to a team, I guess I'm going to Luxembourg City..."
"Yes you are," Kratzenberg said, patting his friend on the back...

Febuary 23rd, 1936- Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
"As you see, Grand Dutchess, we Lux, should send a team to the olympics. To show our involvement in world affairs." Wehrer said, staring his enemy in the face.
"Are you not that fascist that always runs against me in the elections?" Charlotte asked lowering her tea cup.
"Only as a representitive of my friend Damian Kratzenberg." Wehrer replied.
"You make a good point, though. You will go, for I am of poor health this month, flu I believe."
"My highness, the olympics are in June."
"Still, I will not be seen in the same nation as that man, Hitler!" the Grand Dutchess exclaimed.
"Of course, Charlotte... of course..."

Ok, the Berlin olympics were in August, so sue me!

June 8th, 1936- Berlin, Germany

Wehrer sat down next to Hitler. He listened as the dictator chuckled. Below on the field the French team marched in with their right arms extended as a tribute to Hitler, who had in the last six months, reoccupied the Rheinland.
"Stupid French, idiots..." Adolph chuckled. The Lux team entered the field. "Albert, I didn't even know you country had a team!" the fascist said.
"Niether did I, really. I knew we were training one, but I didn't think it would be ready." Wehrer suggested to Hitler for his answer.
"I will... do as much as I can... As you can see..." Hitler said refering to the angry British representivitive in front of him, "The Rheinland stunt was not a big hit with everyone. He wouldn't want a war, would we? If Germany was visible active in Luxembourg during your coup, the French and British would be suspicious." Hitler said, he whispered so the French minister on his right could not understand.
"Thank you, Adolph. Now let us watch the games..." Wehrer's old face cracked as he smiled ear to ear.

September 8th, 1936- Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Lux special forces, aided by German commandos, crept into the palace of Grand Dutchess Charlotte. Carrying only Lugers for defeanse, the Lux rebels were wary for Palace guards. The first Lux commando, kicked the door in and entered the room. Soon, another pair had set up a machinegun and prepared for the up-coming fire-fight.
"OH MY GOOD GOD!" Charlotte shouted.
"Repeat after me," the Lux commando said, "Heil Wehrer und Kratzenberg..."
"Oh my, a coup!" three shots rang out in quick resetion.
Blood pooled under the head of former Grand Dutchess Charlotte, elected by her people to serve them. Guards rushed into the room but were held capture by their fascist counterparts.
"Good job boys!" Kratzenberg congradulated the commandos.

September 9th, 1936- Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Wehrer stood before the nex fascist parliment of the "new" Luxembourg, as Kratzenberg called it.
"Today gentlemen, we come to order as a new Luxembourg, a PROGRESSIVE LUXEMBOURG! One that will undo the harms done to us in the past by FRANCE! BELGIUM! HOLLAND! AND MOST OF ALL... GERMANY!"
"HEIL WEHRER!" erupted in the building, thoughout the streets of Luxembourg City, and across the tiny nation!

January 3rd, 1937- "Eagle's Nest", Austrian Alps
Snow fell quietly around Hitler's private palace. SS guards patrolled the parimeter, but it was getting late; they were tired and frost bitten. Lux special forces were lurking in almost every shadow. They were armed only with Swiss made Lugers, and American 30-06 sniper rifles.
"Carefull aim, carefull aim," one soldier said quietly to himself, as he watched Hitler stretch before lying down. He unlicked his safety...

January 3rd, 1937- Hamburg, Germany
Karl Dönetz was seated at his desk, hard at work preparing the list of duties for the Unterseeflotte (Under-sea Fleet). He sketched out maps on the only piece of paper he could find; an invite to his niece's birthday party in Königsberg. He wished he could go, but he knew it was impossible; Hitler had swamped him with work. He heard his door creak, he looked behind him and saw nothing; just the snow falling outside his window. He looked at the invite again, with a deep sigh, then put his pencil down. He would call Hitler the next afternoon, and ask for a rare personal day. He had not seen any member of his own family for a long time after Hilter's siezure of power. He pushed his chair back and stood up.
"Don't move. Setzen (Sit)," the voice behind him commanded.
"Göering, I thought I said no more of these practical jokes," Dönetz said with a chuckle, though he only hoped it was Göering.
"I'm not your friend..." the voice said in a deep, monotone way.
"Well, what do you want?"
"What would you say if I told you right this second, Hitler was dead in bed."
"I would say something in the means of... 'damned I'm a dead man...'" Dönetz shivered, he had shot Lugers so many times, he could smell one from a mile away; and now... and now there was one not two feet from the back of his head. "Can I write a letter?" Dönetz asked, "To my family?"
"I see no harm, but don't turn around." the voice answered. Dönetz quickly skribbled a message to his family.
"What if you had the option to betray Germany, and see your family?"
"I'd... I'd do it in a second."
"Even if it ment defecting to another nation?"
"Yes... even if it meant that..."
"What about Luxembourg?"
"I'll join, I'll command your navy... anything to see my wife, and kids, and go to my niece's birthday!" Dönetz said standing up again.
"Consider yourself a Lux citizen, and a safe man." The voice said.
Dönetz sighed in relief and then turned around to see who behind him. It was none other than Erwin Rommel.
"YOU?!" Dönetz asked in surpirse.
"Yes me... You knew I didn't like Hitler, you knew I have been plotting to kill him since day one."
"But Luxembourg?!"
"Yes, they offered me shelter for my family, and the means to rid myself of Hitler."
"What about Göering?" Dönetz asked.
"Karl, think... He's too loyal to Hitler."
"He's dead?"
"They all are; Himmler, Riptoven, Hitler, Göering, all of them!"
"Who is left?"
"Boehm, Raeder, Lutjens. Mostly naval officers. Krüger went. He commanded the elite unit that went in and popped Hitler."
"What about Bismarck and Graf Zepplin?"
"Both are in good condition, Kratzenberg is proud of them. We lost Tirpitz in a fire fight, they scuttled it."
"What about the Kriegsmarine?" Dönetz asked, exitement filled his voice with a sound almost near laughter.
"Safe and sound in the UK. The Unterseeflotte is awaiting your orders."

January 4th, 1937- Saarbrücken, Germany
Rebel German forces declared their intetions to join the Luxembourg Army, which now sized over 50 divisions. Germany had been tossed into civil war. Prussia siezed East Prussia. Democratic Germany set up power in Münchin, but was already discussing jojning Luxembourg, the only stable power in the region. Austria was rocked after SS forces raided the Parliment building looking for the assassins. Poland panicked and closed down all of its borders. France did the same. The Netherlands and Belgium were also closed down, trying to stay out of a growing problem. A new Fascist Germany took root in Berlin. Open war was soon out and the Lux were sweeping eastward. The Kiel Republic declared its intentions to join the war on the side of Denmark, who had siezed this opprotunity to regain lost territory from Prussian expantion in the 1800's.

New York Times- ETXRA
This morning at exactly 7:30 EST, fighting broke out between the factions of NAZI Germany. The favorite to win is Monarchical forces of Luxembourg which has already siezed territory on either side of the Rheinland, and is working its way into the region of the Daunbe and Austria. Danish forces were repeled by Fascist forces hoping to recapture Hamburg, which was lost to Luxembourg. Prussian forces landed on Settin last night in a surprise attack to sieze the fascist capital of Berlin. Poland repeats that it had nothing to do with the assassination of leading Nazi officals, even though it had reasonable motive. More tomorrow in the full addition of the New York Times including a speech of neutrality by president FDR, and a pro-war speech by King George VI of the UK.

12:00, noon January 6th, 1937- London, England
"We must stand up..." King George VI paused and looked around at his subjects, "for the rights of a fellow monarchy, who is battling the ugly face of Fascism. We must do this in the name of democracy, in freedom, and in friendship. The Lux army is undermaned, and lacks the leadership of an orginized army. They lack a navy, and an airforce. They lack the funding to rebuild Germany if they win, the lack the resources to feed their troops. What they lack, we must give. We learned from a mistake, when we did not fund the Spainish during their time of dispair. Now look. Spain has forever been scared by Fascism. We must not repeat that mistake! We shall go over to Luxembourg and destroy fascism where it stands!" the crowds erupted into cries of joy and respect for their king.

January 10th- Outside Frankfurt, Germany
Lux forces trudged through knee-high snow, trying to make their way to an airforce base, where they could find food, shelter, and aircraft. Fascist forces were low on morale. Retreating at the first sight of enemy troops. The Lux Kriegsmarine (war-navy) had already won several victories verse the Danish navy just off of Jutland. Prussia pulled out of the war, uniting with Fascist Germany. The Kiel Republic had been annexed by Denmark. The German Democratic Republic was fighting against Austria, and losing quickly.
"How much farther, sir?" one weary troop asked.
"How in the hell should I know?!" their commander replied. When they did reach the safety of the airbase, they found it empty other than the aircraft. The promised food; gone. The warmth; gone thanks to a hole in the roof. The shelter; battered and withered, but still standing. The fighters were just Me-109s Gustavs, nothing too special. A Ju-89 Stuka, was sitting there on its own. The men took wood from the control tower, and made a fire in a last-ditch effort to live through the night.
"Where are we marching to next?" a leutenaint asked.
"No where. A report says that Rommel got us some tranks from Britain, and he's going to pull this "blitz" manuever into Berlin, and capture the Fascists. Wehrer is working out our differences with Denmark, and is going to have them pull out of Germany, which includes giving up Kiel."
"What about Austria?"
"The Brits are telling them to stop. Georgy put Churchill into power, fearing the other PM would back down is case of war."

January 12th, 1937- Hannover, Germany
Rommel's head was poked out of the to of his tank. He cursed the Brit's lack of enginuity, having already lost serveral tanks to mechanical problems. They were making time, having traveled 50km in the previous day. He was hoping the war would end soon, so he can get back to his own life, before Kratzenberg launched his own blirtzkrieg (lighting-war) into France, Belgium, Netherland, and probably beyond. But that was years away. Rommel knew Kratzenberg would take his time increasing the Lux army before unleashing Wehrer on Europe. Rommel smiled, thinking about Wehrer going through the streets of Pairis telling the French of their defeat. Erwin realized he had had this idea before... only it was Hitler who was running through Pairis. He went back into his tank and thought, "I have just given up one Hitler for another..." But then he though of the Luxembourgreichstag (Luxembourg's Empire Congress) in which the people still had some say. He though of how people excepted Wehrer and Kratzenberg, and not blindly obeyed them. He also though of the land grant promised to him. 6,000 acres in Cherbourg, France. He smiled, "Maybe Wehrer isn't so bad. Plus he promised I could see my family more often then Hitler would." Lux 75mm artillery guns went off in the background, filling the air with sound that seemed to give it weight.

Kaiserliches Luxemburg Zeitung

(Imperial Luxembourg Newpaper: Today the army of Erwin Rommel, head of the Luxembourg army, has captured Hannover, Germany and continues to push into the heartland of Germany itself. Also today, Austria and Denmark have both left the war after British pressure was applied. Expeditionary forces have landed from Britain and Canada, and France threatens to leave the allies because "Britain is supporting another NAZI empire." Lastly; the Democratic Republic of Germany has agreed to annexation, bring this war one step closer to over!)

Anyways: Back to the show!

Febuary 2nd, 1937- Outside Berlin, Germany

Erwin Rommel was sitting on the only thing worse (in his mind) than a British-made tank, an American made tank. Though he did like the Jeeps very much, he had no heart for American "tanks." "Gummipanzer," he had called it the day before in a report to Kratzenberg. (Gummipanzer means "gummy tank" or "rubber tank") The Germans were in all out retreat, but here at the Reichstag, they would not see their beautiful empire collapse in the moment when they seemed at their greatest. He took out a pen and paper and started to write:

Dearest mother; Helena,
Please do not worry for me. I am relatively safe inside this gummipanzer. It was actually made in America! It still stinks of democracy! I think it wise I scrub the freedom residue off of it or the men will get used to it! They might demand it here in Europe. I am writing to you from Berlin, just outside of the Reichstag itself! It has been an eventful month so far. The Germans are calling up children as young as fifteen to fight! Are they truely as blind as that?! What has Hitler instilled in these children to make them die for a country that wants them to go down with the ship! If we could only take this one city! This city is the keel of the German juggernaught! If it goes; it all goes. Please tell Lucie and the children I am plenty safe, and by the end of the year, we will be a stable family again.
Viel Liebe,
Ihr Sohn, Erwin

"Sir!" Said one Canadian expeditionary soldier, "The Canadians want to know wether or not we should fire on children. Before you respond I'd like to point out they have anti-tank grenade launchers. What do we do?"

"See if you can't get them to surrendertheir weapons. Be intimidating! Point your guns at them, prod them with bayonets. If they don't, take them prisioner. If they try to use the weapons... I'm going to hate myself for this... kill them."

"Sir, yes, sir!" The Canadian saluted, then left. Erwin rubbed his forehead, why were children possessing Panzerfausts? He heard men yelling, then children yelling. He closed his eyes; several shots rang out. Then more soon explosions heralded. Erwin turned, and saw it was not the children who had been shot, but the Canadians, and now militia were turning the corner. Erwin ran to his tank and climbed inside. The men already had the engine running, now they were trying to escape the armed masses. Bullets bounced off the thin armour, but it held.

When at his HQ, Erwin got out of his tank and climbed into one of the few Lux-built tanks, armed with a 40mm cannon. The crowd turned the corner and halted at the sight of the tank. With a mega-phone Erwin called out to the crowds.
"Please stop and lie downs your weapons! We do not wish to harm you, nor does the Lux government! We are not a dictatorship as Gorbells has probably already told you!" The tank commander chuckled as Erwin went on, "Lie down your guns and walk over here, and you will not be held accountable for your actions. Please, you will not be harmed!" The mega-phone went silent. Some people, mostly old men, put their guns down, raised their arms and walked toward the tank. Lux troops stood their ground and let the non-combatants pass. Just then, with a glance at the Reichstag, Erwin spotted the white flag for truce. The new Fuehrer wanted to make a deal...

Febuary 4th, 1937- Berlin, Germany
Erwin Rommel sat down next to Wehrer and Kratzenberg. Across the table from them sat Gorbells, head of propaganda and now fuehrer of Germany.
"Gentlemen, may I start by saying you've really made a name out of Luxembourg?"
"No, but since you already have; continue with what you want to say," Kratzenberg responded. Gorbells shifted uneasily in his chair.
"I want a conditional surrender..."
"We will have none of that!" Wehrer shouted, standing out of his chair.
"Settle down Wehrer, continue..." Kratzenberg's cool voice calmed even Gorbells down.
"We'll give up everything in the reich, if you let us keep Berlin." Erwin glanced over at Kratzenberg, who was sitting between him and Wehrer. Kratzenberg turned to Wehrer and nodded.
"YOU STINKING KRAUT WE WILL HAVE NO CONDITIONAL SURRENDER!" Wehrer stood out of his chair and told his guards, "Arrest this man!"
"What are you going to do to me? Please don't send me to a labour camp!" The guards picked Gorbells up by his shoulders.
"No, that is the NAZI way of things. We are going to let you spend time in jail. The Americans are letting us send war criminals, such as yourself, to prisions there. I hope you like Sing-sing." Gorbells stopped kicking, and went silently.
Kratzenberg turned to Erwin, "Sir, I think you have a war to win." Erwin saluted before following the guards out of the building.

Febuary 5th, 1937- Berlin, Luxembourg
The Luxembourg flag flew over the former German capital. There were no men brave enough to lead the third reich in its darkest hour. Kratzenberg walked in the streets without fear. The city had already elected its representative in parliment.
"Sir!" Dönetz, said.
"Ahhh... my commander of the navy. What have you got there?" Kratzenberg said in reference to a think roll of papers under Dönetz's arm.
"Sir, we found these plans in the reichstag awaiting aproval. They are plans to a battleship."
"We already have a half-finished Bismarck. Plus the future is aircraft carriers!"
"Sir, this battleship is 144,000 tons*, the Bismarck is only 44,000. It has five turrets, each with four 20 inch guns!"
"Keep the plans at your desk. You can concider them approved by me, but you still need parliment. I still think we need more better aircraft carriers! And better carrier doctrines! Battleships are dead, aircraft carriers; they are the shining hope! They are what drives the future great navies. Maybe what we need is a 144,000 ton aircraft carrier."
"I'll get my men drawing up designs imeditally."
"No, we have no technology for such a thing. Go with what we know,"
"Yes, sir."
_________________________________________________________________
*Hitler really did have a plan for a mega-battleship that weighed in over 100,000 tons. His invasion of Poland destroyed hopes of building it.

Before you choke me about the Graf Zepplin, there really was a Graf Zepplin aside from the airship, it as a rudimentary aircraft carrier that was partially complete by the time WWII started.

LoL, I know American. Im a canuck and I just took a little pop shot at americans. A little joke.I really wanna learn german and I like the AAR.

July 23rd, 1937- Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
"What are you plotting there Wehrer? The invasion of Belgium?" Kratzenberg said laughing.
"Please be serious, we both know that doesn't start until 1940, when the Graf Zepplin is done. This is land I want to purchess from France."
"And where are we going to get the money for this purchess?"
"I did a calculation. Thanks to genius is the French administration, inflation is bad with the Franc, that 1 Lux-mark is worth 10,000Fc."
"That is bad."
"For them anyway," shrugged Wehrer.
"Isn't this the territorial claims of Germany?"
"Yes, but I'm not asking for Danzig, or Austria, or anything. This is an honest offer to help our neighbor's economy."
"Very gallant of you," Kratzenberg said sarcastically.
"Ok, so helping the French economy is a bonus side effect, but this territory will give us a buffer between them and our capital."
"Why don't we have sister capitals? Luxembourg and Berlin, perhaps."
"Nein [No], Ancient Rome tried that, now look at it."
"Back on the subject of the war with the allies," Kratzenberg was quiet, as if someone was listening, "How will we deal with their colonies?"
"Promise their independence, they revolt against their master nation, we just have to take the mainland."
"What about the RAF?"
"Hehe... I knew you'd mention that. You wouldn't guess how much technology we got from Germany! ASDIC [RADAR], Submarines, Battleships, Aircraft, Aircraft Carriers, Assembly Lines, Sub-machine Guns, and Jet Propulsion! Damian! All I need is a few extra years, We'll have more carriers than anyone, more battleships than anyone. We won't need a bigger airforce because we'll have "missiles" and jets! Our tanks will pop the tops off RUSSIAN tanks from 3 kilometers! Plus we have the entire work of the Germany Nuclear Programme!" Wehrer was standing out of his chair, his arms in the air.
"Point taken, how long will you need?"
"Seven extra, ten for the Nukes."
"Granted, we can hold the allies off for three years while the Nuclear programme finishes up. Get working!" Wehrer saluted and took his purchess offer to the Luxembourg Congress for approval.

August 1, 1937- Paris, France
Pierre Laval sat down across from Wehrer with his advisors on either side. "The French people will not like being sold to the new Fascist power," he said, noting the anger building in Wehrer's face.
"Is it they who would disapprove, or your own self?"
"Both... The League of Nations will not approve."
"Then the League will not get involved," Wehrer proposed.
"Those people were under Prussian, then German occupation for years before WWI, they do not want a third Germanic occupation!"
"Is it the Germanic who occupied that area, or is it the Francs who occupy it now?"
"I am appalled by your lack of vision, those people are French, and they will remain in the French kingdom!" Laval shouted.
"They are Germanic and will join the Germanic Kingdom of Luxembourg!"
"French, you Kraut!"
"Germanic, you French whore!" The room quieted and remained that way. Both men were red in the face and staring each other down.
"Then it is war! Guards remove this man from my office and stick him in jail!"
"My people will have revenge, you ^@(&#$*!"
"Ha! What you speak is wrong!"
