Breaking alliances

Yes another question.......

How do you get Ai countries to break alliances with each other (so you can vasilise/ annex them), or do you just have to wait ( )?

You have to wait for them to end. If you hover the cursor over their alliance in the diplomacy screen, a dropdown box will tell you when the end-date is.

One other tactic would be to establish high relations with a country you want to annex(+190), then declare a war on its allies. The country that you have a high relation with will dishonor the alliance at which point you sign an alliance with them.
